Established in 2000

A place for musicians by musicians, carefully refined over the years with one purpose only, creativity. From the downstairs 100 sqm big liveroom to the airy, harmonic controlroom and two booths on the second floor, BAM Recording is all about creating, recording and mixing music with maximum flexibilty in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

BAM Recording is an ongoing  journey that started in the year 2000. Then named ”Bernström-Bauman”, after owners and former band mates Ronny ”Rompa” Bernström and Andreas Bauman. The doors first opened in the fall of 2000 after intense construction work. From the onset the combination of a very flexibel 100 sqm downstairs live-room and a recording studio, attracted artists and labels from near
and far. 

Soon we had weeklong rehearsals of full bands and recordings of everything from drums, choirs and strings to full blown live gigs with audience. We’ve also had a number of photo and video shoots over the years.  

Bernström and Bauman parted in 2005 with Ronny starting a very successful career as a live engineer with bands like ”Clawfinger” and ”Europe” to name a few.

Andreas Bauman remained as the sole owner and focused on refining the studio into what today is a hi-end recording and mixing studio with calibrated Dolby Atmos mixing capability. The company changed name to ”Bauman Audio Media”, and the studio to ”BAM Recording”.
One speciality was live recording with following post and 5.1 mixing with artists like Europe, Candlemass, House of Shakira, Eagle-Eye Cherry and many others. 

Andreas Bauman is also well known for being the house engineer of legendary live-club ”O-Baren in central Stockholm since 2003, and there having the opportunity to work with bands and artists such as
Chris Cornell, Band of Horses, Imagine Dragons, Billie Eilish and Joss Stone to name a few.

Music and the industry around it has changed a great deal over the years, and most big studios are long gone. BAM is here to provide you the magic
and possibilities of a large recording studio of old in an updated version.
